SenseCAP indicator
Command your mesh network from a brilliant 4-inch display. Dual processors deliver desktop-class performance for stationary installations.
Important: 868 MHz for Europe
Always buy the 868 MHz version for use in Europe. The 915 MHz version (US) is not allowed in Europe.
What is the SenseCAP indicator?
When a pocket-sized screen feels inadequate for managing your mesh network, the SenseCAP Indicator provides a proper command console. This substantial 4-inch touchscreen device from Seeed Studio houses dual microcontrollers - an ESP32-S3 and Raspberry Pi RP2040 - delivering processing headroom that most mesh hardware cannot match.
That 480x480 pixel RGB touchscreen renders text, maps, and interface elements with impressive clarity. Colours appear vibrant whether you place the unit on a desk, mount it in a vehicle, or install it as the centrepiece of a community operations room.
Beyond mesh networking, this open-source platform supports broader IoT development. WiFi, Bluetooth LE, and LoRa connectivity come standard, whilst Grove expansion ports invite additional sensors and peripherals.

Detailed description
Some enthusiasts affectionately call this the "Meshtastic iPad" owing to its generous, brilliant display. The device arrives with Meshtastic firmware pre-installed, ready for immediate configuration and deployment.
Those two Grove expansion connectors open considerable possibilities. Need positioning? Connect a Grove GPS module. Environmental monitoring? Add temperature and humidity sensors. The platform accommodates your evolving requirements.
Current limitations: Some RP2040 features (buzzer control, SD card access, map rendering) remain under development. Bluetooth functionality exists separately from the main Meshtastic interface, requiring mode switching.
