What is the SenseCAP t1000-e?

Ever wished you could track your luggage, your bicycle, or even an elderly relative without bulky equipment? The SenseCAP T1000-E stands as the first IP65-rated Meshtastic tracker, measuring just 6.5mm thick and designed to disappear into a wallet, attach to equipment, or slip into a pocket unnoticed.

Inside this slim profile sits Semtech's LR1110 LoRa transceiver, Nordic's efficient nRF52840 processor, and Mediatek's AG3335 GPS module delivering high-precision positioning. The 700mAh battery provides impressive longevity given the compact dimensions.

Ideal applications include monitoring valuable assets, keeping tabs on children during outings, or maintaining a backup communication device that you genuinely carry every day because it takes up almost no space.

Detailed description

The T1000-E addresses a genuine need: an unobtrusive tracker you actually carry daily. Tuck it into your wallet behind the cards, clip it inside a rucksack, or attach it to valuables you cannot afford to lose.

Two T1000-E units can communicate directly across 5-10 kilometres of open countryside. Connected to a wider mesh network, effective range becomes practically unlimited as messages hop between nodes.

Technical note: The LR1110 radio cannot currently receive packets from older SX127x transceivers. Transmission works fine, and an SX126x-based node in your network can bridge communication to legacy hardware.
